Our team has extensive experience in both the insurance and finance markets, in Spain and internationally – and our aim is to use this expertise to help you meet your business objectives.

  Bob Golden, Chief Executive
Bob's focus is to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience in using Close's products and services, adding value to their proposition and providing long term value for money. Bob joined Close in 1999 and is also Managing Director of Close Brothers Limited, the Banking Division of Close Brothers Group plc, Chairman of mortgage network, Mortgage Intelligence, and a non-executive director of Close Invoice Finance. Bob still finds time, however, to indulge his passion for motor boating, Arsenal and cigars - but not necessarily in that order.
 
 
  Janet Wilson, Managing Director
Janet joined Close Premium Finance as Managing Director in early November 2010 having worked previously as Managing Director Close Motor Finance. Before joining Close, Janet was previously Operations Director with First National Motor Finance. With over 20 years financial services experience Janet is no stranger to the insurance market having spent three years as Managing Director of a large broker chain which was later acquired by Hill House Hammond. She is responsible for the day to day running of the company and the implementation of its strategic direction. She is a lifelong supporter of Chelsea Football Club (but she'll get over it).
 
 
  Sonia Maria Luengo, Managing Director, Spain
Sonia joined Close Brothers in September 2008 with the goal of educating the Spanish broker market on the benefits of premium finance in Spain. With a strong banking and insurance background from her time working at Commerzbank, BNP Paribas, Allianz and GE, she understands brokers and insurers and the benefits premium finance can offer. In her spare time you will find Sonia relaxing at her home in Madrid or getting involved in various sporting activities with her two children.
 
 
  David Rodriguez Martín, Sales Account Manager
David has a broad experience as a Sales Account Manager in companies like DKV, Génesis Metlife, Generali and Aviva, where he has been in direct contact with the main brokers in the Spanish market. During his professional career, he has also designed and developed new commercial plans for his existing and potential clients in the banking and insurance sector. He has also been responsible for the area of innovation, creating new products and processes according to the market needs. David is reinforcing the Spanish Team in Madrid with his commercial, and communication skills focused to his client's satisfaction. During his free time, David spends his time with his family and friends, visiting Castilla and enjoying the small pleasures of life.
 
 
  Virginia Garcia-Olias Ventas, Sales Account Manager
Virginia is responsible for the relationships with some of our bigger brokers, assisting with training, problem solving and identifying new ways to maximise premium finance for her brokers. Before joining Close, Virginia worked in the underwriting department of Cesmar Seguros y Reaseguros S.A. for 9 years, where she liaised constantly with brokers. A keen explorer, Virginia has visited Argentina, Central America and most part of Europe and is always looking for new travel adventures.
 
 
  Victor Manuel Fernández, Sales Account Manager
Víctor has more than 15 years of experience and excellent relations with our most important brokers in Cataluña and Baleares islands. His professional network and excellent relationships help brokers meet their insurance premium finance needs and achieve their targets. Before joining Close Brothers, Victor worked in Grupo Agrupacio Mutua, Aegon and Quarck Comunicación. During the weekends, Victor enjoys his time with his family and child practising different activities in the seaside and the mountains. He also likes travelling and reading.
 
 
  Miguel Silos, Sales Account Manager
Miguel has broad experience together with a global vision of business that will contribute to Close Brothers Financiación de Seguros establishment in the South Area and Canary Islands, helping brokers’ with their work and achieving their targets. Miguel has worked during the last 18 years in companies such as Dapa, Hércules Hispano, Royal Insurance, Athena and Pelayo. During his spare time he enjoys relaxing at the beach with his family and especially sailing.
 
 
  Enrique Escamilla, Sales Account Manager
Enrique has experience of over 25 years in the insurance market that demonstrates his ability in identifying and in responding to brokers needs in the Levante Area. Enrique’s main aim is helping brokers in advising customers of their insurance premium finance needs. It is relevant his experience in companies like Multimar, AGF-Unión Fénix and Mussap where he has demonstrated successfully his effectiveness. He is a Valencia Football Club supporter and likes travelling with his family in his spare time.
